In our continuing efforts to bring as much great beer to Central Vermont as is humanly possible, we've just brought three exciting new bottles in.  The first is the Brooklyn Local No 1, which we were carrying a while ago and are glad to have back.  The Local 1 is classified as a "Belgian Strong Pale Ale" and the 25.4 oz bottle comes in with an ABV of 9%.  As well, we've got a new 11.5 oz bottle from the amazing folks up at Brasserie Dieu Du Ciel in Montreal- their Derniere Volonte ("Last Will"), an Abbey-style blond ale which mixes English and Belgian brewing traditions and has an ABV of 6.5%.  Finally, we've added Allagash's Fluxus, a double white beer brewed with spices including fresh grated ginger.  Another 25.4 oz bottle (8.7% ABV), Fuluxus is part of Allagash's "Tribute Series"- they'll donate $1 from the sale of each bottle sold to the Allagash Pediatric Scholarship at the Maine Medical Center in Portland, which directly supports the training of nurses in the field of pediatric care.  Great beer that also supports great causes?  Who's kidding who!
